紧急威胁(Immediately-threatened) – 受到紧急威胁的肢体如果及时恢复血管通畅是可以拯救的。感觉缺失累及范围超过足趾本身,可以伴有静息痛。轻至中度的肌力下降,动脉多普勒信号不能听到或见到,但静脉多普勒信号可以见到或听到。
不可逆改变(irreversible & nonviable)- 不可逆缺血的肢体有较大的组织坏死(tissue loss)和/或永久性神经损伤。感觉丧失明显,肌力明显减弱伴有瘫痪和可能的僵硬(rigor),多普勒动静脉信号消失。尽管开始着手进行治疗,这些不可存活的肢体仍需要较大的截肢(major amputation )。血管再通治疗往往在截肢愈合后或截肢在较低的水平。
